ATG has announced that it will rename the Comedy Theatre after playwright Harold Pinter. Pinter’s had seven plays performed in the theatre, most recently Betrayal starring Kristin Scott-Thomas. The theatre will be renamed when its new production, the play Death and the Maiden opens next month. Thandie Newton will take on the lead in this play by Ariel Dorfman about Paulina, an ex- political prisoner who years later thinks she recognises her captor. [More]
