Ghost The Musical

Trailer and video

Based on the 1990 hit romantic drama film of the same name, Ghost is about a timeless fantasy displaying the power of love between Sam and Molly; who were mugged one night as they were returning home. When Sam died he found himself trapped as a ghost between the real world and the next. Knowing his heartbroken girlfriend Molly was in danger, he tried to communicate to her through a phony psychic, Oda Mae Brown in the hope of saving her from his murderer.

Ghost the Musical features dazzling new music and lyrics by Grammy Award winners Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard, and of course includes the unforgettable ‘Unchained Melody’. The director of the show, Matthew Warchus is a multi-award-winning West End regular, with productions like The Lord of the Rings; while special effects are created by Paul Kieve, the illusionist for Harry Potter.

Characters

Sam Wheat – The ‘Ghost’ in the story who remained on earth as a ghost after he was murdered.

Molly jensen – The heartbroken girlfriend of the ‘ghost’ who had a tough time after her boyfriend was murdered.

Oda Mae Brown – The fake psychic through whom the ghost communicated to his girlfriend.

Carl Bruner – A friend of Sam and Molly who works with Sam in banking. He is also the one who hires a street thug to steal the ‘address book’ from Sam.

Ghost The Musical Theatre Break with Alexandra Hotel, Oct 2011

Plenty of selection of hotels (possibly too much if you don't know the hotels). The theatre seats were very good and the whole experience of collecting the tickets was very slick - well done theatre. I was worried before I collected the tickets and would have been happier if I had known the seat numbers. The hotel was in a good location and was very tidy from the outside but the room was very tired. Carpet in the room had large rips in it and the furniture was tatty. Breakfast was very poor quality too (cereal, tea and toast) all of which had a taste of cleaning products! In all though I was very happy with your service and would use again (although I would do more hotel research)

Ghost The Musical Theatre Break with Crowne Plaza Shoreditch, Sep 2011

This was our second stay at the Crowne Plaza and it was just as good as the last time. Staff very friendly and helpful. A bit noisy outside at night but that's London on a Friday/Saturday night. Breakfast very good and a late check out time which is a bonus. Ghost was brilliant, with great special effects, an excellent meal at a little Italian restaurant on the corner made it a great night out. Package recommended.

Ghost The Musical Theatre Break with Waldorf Hilton Hotel, Aug 2011

The show was great !And so was the Waldorf ,who know how treat their guests. We had mentioned to the lady at reception that it was my wifes birthday and we we came back from walking around there was a lovely tray of chocolates and a card for her! Everything was perfect except we decided to pick our tickets up in the afternoon of the show about 2.30pm and they were not ready to pick up,so we had to go back before the show to collect them, whereas we would have liked to pick them up at the time and not have had to wait in the queue.

Ghost The Musical Theatre Break with Travelodge London Farringdon, Jun 2011

I booked this break and as soon as the confirmation email was recieved (within minutes of booking)realised the dates were wrong so phoned and was told that they would amend and send me email confirmation. After several phone calls this was finally amended two weeks later. Having said that the weekend proved to be absolutely brilliant, the hotel was clean , comfortable and within easy reach of the stationand underground. The theatre seats were excellent and the show was one of the best I have seen (and I have seen a few).

Ghost The Musical Theatre Break with St Giles Hotel, Apr 2011

Website was easy to use, we had really good seats at theatre considering they were at the lower end of the price range but a little disappointed in the hotel, rooms were very small & basic, have stayed at nicer ones when on theatre breaks in the same price range of what I paid for this theatre break.
