Let's hear it for the Boys. I suspect, it'll be some time before London says Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye) to the phenomenal Jersey Boys

Jersey Boys

Jersey Boys is about the story of Tommy DeVito, Frankie Valli, Nick Massi, and Bob Gaudio on how they came to form the ‘Four Seasons’ band. The show was based on the progression of their career, with great music to go along with it. It showed in great detail the advancement of the group from “The Variety Trio” to their lives and loves, financial pitfalls, as well as to getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It demonstrated how the band started with a boy (Franky Valli) being asked to be in a singing group that eventually became known as the ‘Four Seasons’ and also displayed how both the success and heartache Frankie Vallie suffered during his rise to the top – how his daughter died and how after the band disbanded that he started his solo career etc. The show ends with them all getting older and wiser from their tragic experiences.

Characters

Frankie Valli – Plays theTenor in the band. Narrator of the ‘Winter’ part of the four “seasons”

Tommy DeVito– Plays the Baritone. Narrator of the ‘Spring’ part of the musical.

Nick Massi – Plays the Bass. Narrator of the ‘Fall’ part of the musical.

Bob Gaudio – Plays the Tenor. Narrator of the ‘Summer’ part of the musical.

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with St Martins Lane Hotel, Dec 2011

The package was memorable and the overall experience was good, however I did not realise when confirming the booking that the theatre seats were in fact seats in the grand circle. Upon discovering this I contacted you again in an attempt to upgrade the seats but unfortunately it was not possible. I hope the feedback will prove useful to yourselves.

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with Britannia Hampstead, Jan 1900

Hotel bedrooms in need of a refurbishment, however staff were excellent with a good standard of food provided. Had a problem with electrical items in my room which was dealt with very quickly and without any fuss. Get the rooms updated and you have an excellent hotel. Having taken an 8hr train journey to London my wife and I were a little apprehensive about our arrangements being in order but we need not have worried as everything was as requested and our 1st experience of a West End Show was very enjoyable. Thank You

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with Russell Hotel, Oct 2011

All very good. The tickets were ready for collection, the hotel had a hiccup on registration but quickly sorted it out, the show was very enjoyable and food and service at the hotel was very good. As it was my wife's 60th birthday treat, the weekend was obviously important to us and certainly did not disappoint.

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with Russell Hotel, Nov 2011

It was magic!!! I treated my daughter for a Xmas present (I will not see her for Xmas as she is going to Australia for Xmas to be with her family) I live in Brussels, so for me I just love coming to London to visit and also visit my daughter, who lives in Brighton. I booked the seats in the Grand Circle (this was my first experience up there) and I didn't like the experience. We moved to the second seat from the front after intermission and enjoyed the show MUCH, MUCH more!!! We felt like we were part of the show then (my daughter was sung to by the Franki Valli twice ;) The hotel was lovely in the style and beauty for it's era. We misunderstood the time frame for breakfast so when we arrived just after 10am, there was everything being put away. So that was disappointing to have the dregs. Overall, very pleasant stay and experience. Thank you Kind regards Martine

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with The Royal Horseguards Hotel, Sep 2011

The break was for my daughter Katy Beeson and her husband. The seats werre perfect for the show and they really enjoyed it. The hotel was more than they could have ever wished for, all thanks to Leni who sorted out the problem that the original hotel booked was having extensive refurbishment done. She found us the Royal Horseguards hotel after finding that most hotels had no availability. The Royal Horseguards Hotel is the height of luxury, My daughter would thoroughly recommend this to everyone.. Leni saved the day and was very polite and understanding of the situation, she is a gem.

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with Crowne Plaza Shoreditch, Jul 2011

great --- very smooth and organised -- no complaints appart from a fellow guest who insisted on coughing his guts up during breakfast - first everyone right minded was disgusted, but it quickly degenerated into disbelief and ammusement -- some people shouldn't be allowed to join polite company unsupervised

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with Central Park Hotel Hyde Park, Jun 2011

Had a few problems with the website to start with, but got it all sorted in the end. Theatre seats were just ok, very cramped and in Grand Circle, just too far away from stage. But show was very good. Hotel was reasonable. I own a guest house myself and have exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, customer service and quality. It seems to be VERY hard to get that in London these days at a sensible price. Hotel was a bit too far from Paddington for us. Staff not too helpful. Lacking in facilities in room, 2 sachets of coffee and 2 pots of milk, not good. We also had an hour of a smoke alarm going off at the back of our room, could not see any alarm system in the room so just had to hope it was not the hotel on fire!!!

Jersey Boys Theatre Break with Americana, Jun 2011

Very pleased with break and will book again. Jersey Boys is fabulous fun, I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it. The hotel was clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and I would certainly return to this hotel. It was easy to book and I am already looking for my next break.
