To coincide with the picture books 40th anniversary, The Tiger Who Came to Tea is being adapted into a theatre production. The well-known children’s classic was written by Judith Kerr. Sophie and her mother are sitting down to tea when the doorbell rings. Their unexpected guest is a tiger which eats and drinks everything in the house, including all the water from the taps. The theatre version is adapted with songs and lyrics by David Wood, who has had previous successes with Meg and Mog, The Fantastic Mr Fox and The Witches.
